This elegant wedding at Caesars Palace has a clean look with lots of ivory, white, gold and black. With both families living in two different countries, they always knew they wanted to do a destination wedding. When they were narrowing down the choices, they thought Las Vegas really fit the bill as it had something for everyone and would make for an exciting week for their guests.
This gorgeous couple met in Vancouver, Canada during the summer of 2009. He was staying with a family friend and she was visiting her parents. They remained friends and chatted over emails for about a year until she moved to Birmingham, UK to go to university in September 2010. He flew over from Belfast to help her move into her new accommodation and they realized there might be something more than friendship between them. They spent a lot of time flying between Belfast and Birmingham until she finished her degree and decided to move to Belfast full time.
There were so many obstacles to them being together (distance, immigration status, job opportunities) but somehow everything just worked out, nothing felt forced or difficult.
She opted for two dresses, a more traditional ceremony dress and a trendier reception dress. The flowers follow the white and gold color scheme and the cake is vanilla with white chocolate buttercream.
